Solar Sales Professional

Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at our client's Albion, MI office.

Note: Base salary ranges from $75,000 to $95,000. Quarterly bonuses add approximately $12,000 to $20,000 annually.

Our client is a leading provider of solar energy infrastructure solutions based in Michigan. They specialize in developing innovative racking and steel solutions for a variety of commercial, agricultural, and industrial applications.

Job Description

  • Oversee and expand a diverse portfolio of 200+ commercial accounts primarily in the Midwest region
  • Forge new partnerships and convert inbound leads into long-lasting client relationships
  • Present solar designs and proposals with a clear focus on ROI and technical details
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and cultivate repeat business
  • Monitor and report on sales metrics, including pipeline updates and forecasting
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project implementation
  • Full-time role (Monday to Friday, 40 hrs/week) with no required overtime
  • On-site position with relocation assistance available for eligible candidates
  • Eligible for quarterly performance-based bonuses ranging from $12,000 to $20,000 annually

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience (preferably B2B)
  • At least 1 year of experience in solar sales
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license
  • Prior experience in solar sales or knowledge of racking/PV design is a plus
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with a strong team-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is preferred
