Job Description:

  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations.
  • Contribute to the development of menus and the creation of exciting dishes.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure exceptional food preparation standards.
  • Maintain quality control to guarantee customer satisfaction with every dish.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Effectively manage inventory and assist in ordering supplies.
  • Foster a cohesive work environment by working closely with the kitchen team.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated culinary expertise, including proficiency in different cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
  • Experience in menu planning and the ability to create innovative dishes.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing kitchen staff within a fast-paced setting.
  • Thorough knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Passion and creativity in developing unique recipes.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to handle pressure and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Formal culinary training or a degree from a culinary school is preferred.
  • Prior experience with Cuban-Caribbean or fusion cuisine is advantageous.
