Job Description

• Manage and supervise daily accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger management
• Take the lead in ensuring timely invoicing, monitoring collections, and proactively following up on outstanding payments
• Maintain accurate financial records and perform regular account reconciliations
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support business growth
• Oversee payroll processing, tax filings, and compliance with financial regulations
• Utilize Sage accounting software and Excel for financial tracking, analysis, and reporting
• Collaborate with leadership to identify and implement process improvements and enhance financial efficiencies

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting or financial management
• Solid knowledge of bookkeeping practices, collections procedures, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Sage (or similar accounting software) and advanced skills in Excel
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working independently and taking initiative
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
• Prior experience in a small business or startup environment is advantageous
