Stormwater Engineer (Technical Lead)
Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at the XYZ office.

Job Description
- Lead the execution of stormwater engineering projects, ensuring top-notch design and technical supervision.
- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for floodplains, bridges, and culverts.
- Create and develop stormwater management solutions for municipal and roadway projects.
- Utilize tools like HEC-RAS and SWMM to perform modeling and analysis.
- Supervise drainage and flood reduction projects, including implementing erosion and sediment control measures.
- Mentor and oversee the work of junior engineers, reviewing projects for technical accuracy.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least 8 years of experience in stormwater engineering and water resources management.
- Hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Illinois and/or Indiana.
- Extensive background in hydrology, hydraulics, and stormwater design.
- Familiarity with modeling tools such as HEC-RAS, SWMM, and others.
- Knowledge of roadway drainage, flood mitigation, and erosion control practices.
- Excellent leadership and project management skills.
- Optional: Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) certification.
