Job Description
- Responsibly operate and maintain grinding machines to create or repair precision tools and components.
- Expertly read and interpret blueprints and specifications to meet stringent standards.
- Execute precise manual milling, boring, drilling, and tapping for high-quality outputs.
- Proficiently operate manual lathes to perform turning, boring, and threading tasks.
- Precision measurement and inspection of materials using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
- Efficiently set up and fine-tune equipment for optimal performance and precision.
- Prioritize safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with equipment maintenance, including cleaning and replacing worn parts.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience of more than 3 years in tool grinding and manual machining.
- Proficiency in manual milling and lathe operations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively read and work from blueprints.
- Adept at utilizing precision measurement tools with accuracy.
- High school diploma or GED is a mandatory requirement.
- Reliable transportation and a flexible schedule to accommodate overtime and occasional Saturday shifts.
- Eligibility to work in the United States (U.S. citizens or permanent residents only).
