Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at our client's Newport Beach, CA office.

Our client, an esteemed estate planning law firm, is seeking a Trust & Estates Paralegal to join their newly established office in Newport Beach, CA. As their firm expands, they are actively looking for a dedicated full-time paralegal with at least 2 years of professional experience. Experience with trust accountings, probate, and deed recordings is a requirement (conservatorships experience is a bonus).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare probate pleadings, federal estate tax returns, trust/estate accountings, and deed recordings
  • Manage trust administration, probate, and conservatorships
  • Draft initial versions of trusts, petitions, proposed orders, declarations, and supplements
  • File court documents, including e-filing
  • Coordinate court appearances and organize case files for hearings
  • Act as a liaison with clients, law firms, trustees, settlement brokers, financial advisors, bond companies, court clerks, and other stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in trust & estates law
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with Actionstep is a plus!
