About Our Client:

Our client, a leading Workers’ Compensation defense law firm, seeks Senior and Associate Attorneys with a minimum of 4 years of experience in workers' comp -- on either the plaintiff or defense side for a remote position. Salary is competitive based on experience.

Residency in California and possession of a CA Bar license are required for this position.

Job Description:

• Represent insurance carriers, 3rd-party administrators, and self-insured employers
• Handle all client correspondence effectively
• Draft legal pleadings and negotiate settlements
• Appear in court, manage calendar appointments, and conduct depositions
• Negotiate lien claims and ensure proactive case management
• Supervise legal assistant and provide case support
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and vendors
• Participate in marketing events with new and existing clients
• Input case details into PracticeMaster and billing software
• Meet client correspondence deadlines and participate in file reviews
• Conduct training seminars on evolving workers' comp case law
• Stay up-to-date on current workers' compensation case law

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of recent experience in workers' compensation law
• Active California Bar license is mandatory
