Our client, a top-tier law firm specializing in workers' compensation defense, is looking for experienced Senior and Associate Attorneys to join their team in a remote position. Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in workers' compensation law, either on the plaintiff or defense side.

Residency in California and possession of a CA Bar license are mandatory for this role.

Attorneys will be responsible for handling all aspects of workers' compensation cases, from initial assessment to final resolution. They will work closely with insurance companies, employers, and third-party administrators.

Primary responsibilities:

• Represent insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and self-insured employers
• Manage client correspondence and documentation
• Draft legal pleadings and negotiate settlements
• Appear in court, conduct depositions, and manage case calendars
• Negotiate lien claims and oversee case management
• Provide mentorship to legal assistants and ensure efficient case support
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and vendors
• Participate in marketing events with new and existing clients
• Review and update case files in PracticeMaster and billing software
• Meet all client correspondence deadlines and attend file reviews
• Conduct training sessions on evolving workers' compensation laws
• Stay abreast of changes in workers' compensation case law
