Our client, a well-established law firm specializing in Workers' Compensation defense, is seeking Senior and Associate Attorneys to join their team. This is a remote position, offering competitive salary and benefits.

Job Description

• Manage the entire legal defense process of Workers' Compensation cases
• Collaborate closely with insurance companies, employers, and third-party administrators
• Advocate on behalf of insurance carriers, 3rd party administrators, and self-insured employers
• Prepare and handle correspondence to clients
• Negotiate settlements and draft pleadings for workers' compensation files
• Attend court appearances, conduct depositions, and cross-examine doctors
• Proactively manage lien claims and perform case management tasks
• Mentor and supervise legal assistants to provide effective case support
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, co-workers, and vendors
• Participate in marketing events for new and existing clients
• Input case information into PracticeMaster and billing software
• Ensure timely completion of client correspondence and attend file reviews
• Conduct training seminars on evolving workers' compensation case law
• Stay updated on current knowledge of workers' compensation laws

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of recent experience in workers' compensation law
• Possession of a valid California Bar license is required
