About Our Client:
Our client, a leading Workers’ Compensation defense law firm, is currently seeking Senior and Associate Attorneys with a minimum of 4 years of experience in workers' comp, either on the plaintiff or defense side. This is a remote position based in Anaheim, CA. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Job Description:
- Manage the legal defense of workers' compensation cases from start to finish, including all aspects of discovery and litigation
- Advocate on behalf of insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and self-insured employers
- Prepare and handle correspondence to clients
- Negotiate settlements and draft pleadings for workers' compensation files
- Attend court appearances, manage calendar, and conduct depositions and cross-examinations of medical professionals
- Proactively manage case load, including negotiating lien claims
- Oversee and mentor legal assistant to ensure efficient case support
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and vendors
- Participate in marketing events with new and existing clients
- Review and work on files, entering case information into PracticeMaster and billing software
- Meet deadlines for client correspondence and attend client file reviews
- Conduct training seminars for clients on changes in workers' compensation case law
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in workers' compensation case law
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of recent experience in workers' compensation law (required)
- Active membership with the California Bar (required)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year
