About Our Client:

Our client, a renowned law firm specializing in Workers’ Compensation defense, is currently seeking Senior and Associate Attorneys with at least 4 years of experience in workers' compensation, whether on the plaintiff or defense side. This is a remote position with a salary that reflects your experience and expertise.

Please note that residency in California and possession of a CA Bar license are essential for this position.

Job Description:

• Champion the rights of insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and self-insured employers
• Handle client correspondence efficiently
• Draft legal documents and negotiate settlements
• Appear in court, manage schedules, and conduct depositions and examinations
• Negotiate lien claims and oversee case management
• Supervise legal assistants for optimal case support
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and vendors
• Participate in marketing events to engage with clients
• Maintain accurate case information in PracticeMaster and billing software
• Adhere to deadlines for client communication and file reviews
• Offer training seminars on updates in workers' compensation law
• Stay updated on the latest developments in workers' compensation law

Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of recent experience in workers' compensation law
• Active California Bar license
• Residence in California (Preferred)
