Workers’ Compensation Attorney
Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at the XYZ office.
About Our Client:
Our client, a renowned law firm specializing in Workers’ Compensation defense, is currently seeking Senior and Associate Attorneys with at least 4 years of experience in workers' compensation, whether on the plaintiff or defense side. This is a remote position with a salary that reflects your experience and expertise.
Please note that residency in California and possession of a CA Bar license are essential for this position.
Job Description:
- Champion the rights of insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and self-insured employers
- Handle client correspondence efficiently
- Draft legal documents and negotiate settlements
- Appear in court, manage schedules, and conduct depositions and examinations
- Negotiate lien claims and oversee case management
- Supervise legal assistants for optimal case support
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and vendors
- Participate in marketing events to engage with clients
- Maintain accurate case information in PracticeMaster and billing software
- Adhere to deadlines for client communication and file reviews
- Offer training seminars on updates in workers' compensation law
- Stay updated on the latest developments in workers' compensation law
Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of recent experience in workers' compensation law
- Active California Bar license
- Residence in California (Preferred)
